AJ Styles joins the show.

Styles gives props to Chad Gable and said wrestling him was tougher than the Battle Royal. He said he didn’t mean to say a “Little competition” to anger Gable. Styles talks his strategy during the match on how he had to work to bring Gable down. They talk the Battle Royal and Styles says he didn’t feel like he did much, but was able to throw out Zayn and now he gets Kevin Owens. Bryan asked about having two matches in one night and how tough it is. Styles responds that the muscles cool off and tighten up, so it’s a bit of a struggle. He continues that it was in his favor that it was a Battle Royal, since guys were looking at other guys early on. Styles is asked about Owens, he thought he had Owens last time, but getting stuck on the outside messed that up for him. Styles says the only thing Owens is better at than him is eating. Bryan wants an “Eating Challenge” on next week’s show. “A wiener eating contest between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens!” Styles said he would lose. Bryan gets so hyped about this idea and really thinks Styles could win. Styles does not want any part of this, and we’re out!

AJ Styles joins the show.

Styles talks about stumbling over one of his lines on tonight’s show. Renee asks about Styles wanting the US Championship and he says he would like the opportunity to take the title away from Owens. He continued that Owens made a mockery of the “Open Challenge” and when Styles wins the title, he’s going to keep the “Open Challenge” tradition going. Bryan asks about Styles hanging high above the ring at MITB, Styles says he was thinking of trying to unhook it, but it didn’t work out. They talk about Styles and Nakamura facing off and the great reaction it got. Styles says Owens is “Getting it done” as champion, beating Jericho and even himself, but he wants another shot at him. Styles asks Bryan if there was anyone he got in the ring with who Bryan thought was better than him. Bryan named a few, including Jushin Thunder Liger. Styles says he doesn’t think he can be beat and that’s the mentality he simply has. Styles gives Bryan some “Dad advice” about diaper duty and eventually they come up with the idea of a show called “WWE Dads.”

AJ heads out and Renee says that conversation went to a weird place. Renee then plugs next week’s SmackDown, which includes the Women’s MITB Ladder Rematch, Lana vs. Naomi for the Women’s Championship, and The Usos vs. The Hype Bros (If Hype Bros win, they are the number one contenders). Daniel Bryan may or may not be back next week and we’re out!

AJ Styles joins the show.

AJ says if Shane wears a man romper, they are back to square one. Renee asks AJ about getting his win back tonight against Dolph Ziggler. Styles was happy and the ending was pretty sweet. They move to the MITB Match and Styles talks about how he has to deal with five guys in the ring and climb the ladder quick enough to grab the briefcase. Styles wasn’t impressed with Corbin’s cheap shot tactics, he says anybody can do that! He says he’s not worried about Corbin as long as he keeps his eyes open and keeps Corbin at a distance. Shane talks about how ring awareness is needed to survive a match like that. Styles continues on how difficult the match is – Shane agrees – saying it’s even more dangerous than just a Ladder Match. Renee asks what it feels like to be hit by a ladder and Styles simple says it sucks.

Styles says he’s most worried about Ziggler, because he’s actually won this match, and he wants to figure out what Ziggler did to win it. Shane and AJ talk about strategy and trying to figure out who other guys may focus on, and how to take advantage of those situations. Renee asks when AJ would cash it in, if he won. Styles said it would depend on how he felt after the match and it’s about cashing it at the right time, that’s the most important thing. Renee plugs Money in the Bank and then thanks Styles for coming on the show. Styles asks what’s in their coffee mugs as Renee thanks everyone for watching the show, and we’re out!
